The annual conference of the Student Scientific Society (SSS) was held at the Azerbaijan Medical University (AMU). A number of important issues related to the activities of the SSS and the development of scientific research at the university were discussed at the event.

The conference was opened by the vice-rector for scientific affairs of the university, professor Malahat Sultan. In her speech, she emphasized the important role of the SSS in the scientific life of the university, noted the importance of developing the scientific potential of young researchers. The vice-rector spoke about the contributions of the activities carried out by the SSS to the formation of the scientific environment and wished success to the conference participants.

Then, the head of the Department of Scientific Research Management, professor Eldar Garayev, made a speech, emphasizing the role of the SSS in coordinating scientific research activities and involving young scientists in the scientific process, and noted the importance of improving the quality of scientific research conducted at the university and promoting the results at the international level.

The conference continued with a speech by the scientific director of the SSS, associate professor Nargiz Mammadova. He presented the agenda items to the participants and provided detailed information about each topic.

First, the TEC statute was presented during the conference and approved by the participants after discussions. Then, the chairman of the TEC, a student of the II MPF faculty, Hamid Safarli, presented his annual report on the work done and the events carried out during the year. The report was evaluated satisfactorily by the participants.

The action plan for the next year was discussed, approved taking into account the proposals of the participants. At the same time, the new composition of the TEC Council was presented to the participants and approved by voting.
